Meet Mira

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
Founder & Clinic Director
She/Her

Mira is the founder and clinical director of Juniper Wellness. She also leads a consulting firm dedicated to designing mental health initiatives in higher education and organizations.

Mira is passionate about supporting high-achievers coping with stress, perfectionism, overwhelm, and life changes. She specializes in working with clients in demanding industries, including tech, consulting, and law. Mira is attuned to the unique pressures, politics, and organizational cultures in these fields.

As a high-achiever, you likely possess character traits and skills that help you perform, which also create friction. For example, ambition and perfectionism can be assets as you climb towards partner — yet liabilities to your emotional well-being, your relationships, or your sense of worth outside work.

In therapy, Mira guides clients through deeper emotional processing at their pace, while also equipping clients with practical strategies to support their immediate goals. She'll walk with you through difficult emotions, challenge you, and build hope and healing. Mira combines her clinical skills with authenticity, empathy - plus a healthy dose of humour! She practices with a feminist, anti-oppressive lens and is committed to learning and unlearning.

Mira holds a Master of Social Work from York University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University. She is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (#830156).
